4 WAYS TO WEAR A PLEATED SKIRT

Happy Hump Day! Can Thursday hurry up? It is vacation week for my hubby and I me and I am just excited to have some relax time with the hubby, chilling, sipping margaritas (sounds awesome right?).

A couple of weeks ago, the hubby and I decided to do a little shopping for our vacation. Now anytime I shop if I can find an item that catches my eye, I have to buy it. I typically have a plan going in the mall but I always find myself coming out with about 10 bags. Sad but true. During this time, H&M were having an 80% off sale that I cannot just pass up. Scrolling through the sale section I came across this black HM pleaded skirt.  Guess how much this baby was? $7 to be exact. I went in for vacation clothes and came out with vacation, a birthday outfit, work clothes, and casual pieces.

I realize a lot of people like pleated skirts but necessarily don't know how to wear them. I am here to help because it is real simple. Wear what you want. I was having some fun getting these outfits together and came up with these 4 ways you can wear a pleated skirt.

It's crazy how one day you could be perfectly fine and the next your sick, something awful happens, and you feel like your world is just sinking in. I sometimes have to take a step back and see how I can better certain situations. In life, some things are wake up calls for me, to get me out of a certain twilight zone, I like to call zazaland. And the past month has been a constant battle on my physical health.

At this point in my life, I’m taking some time for myself to sit and see what direction I need to be gearing in, for my future. If that is losing some people then so be it, if I stand on my own then so be it, but the only person who can realize that, is me. For this look, I styled this white maxi dress (Similar), olive green pullover(similar), and my taupe lace up booties(similar).

Sooooo is it really Thursday already? That saying "there isn't enough time in one day" is a thought that comes to mind just about every calendar day, before you know it we will be celebrating Christmas and working on our next year resolutions.

 


 One random weekend I went to visit my mom in town. Close to her area, there is a bunch of local shops that sell trendy items and many sale racks (my favorite). I took a scroll around the store and came across this comfortable cute gray dress that I feel will go with about any pair of shoes in my closet. 

   

I couldn't believe my eyes when I realized this baby was $5. Now you guys know I had to have, right? I decide to rock these amiclub.com wear booties, my black purse, and this cute $5 gray dress to finish the look. For five dollars you cannot beat it with a stick. What do you guys think? Yay or Nay?
