Oh, my! It’s been so long since I’ve even checked on my poor site. But when you’re hit with “you’re pregnant”. Sometimes it’s best to take a minute, reflect, and just get your thoughts aligned. I could remember the moment I found out, I cried and fear tried to get the best of me because I didn’t think I was ready. But then the Lord spoke to me to take a breath, call my mother, and she stated exactly what I needed to hear. After her 10- minute scream of excitement session, she uttered these words to me She said “Baby all you can do is take things one day at a time” and that’s exactly what I’ve been doing.

The first step to moving forward was to begin to get my mental state right, think positive thoughts, and know that God has always been by my side. This has truly been an amazing year. I have no complaints, I just don’t like being out of breath and running to the bathroom all the time. For the last 6 months, I really wanted to take some time for myself, get my thoughts together and begin to get ready for the new addition to my hubby’s and I heart. So I took a step back, continued to remain as stress less as possible, and reflected on my entire life.

I am a true believer in “Everything happens for a reason”, I have no regrets on my choices that I’ve made this far in my life because each choice wouldn’t have gotten me exactly where I am. Strong, Bold, and beautiful inside and out. The Lord is still working but who isn’t he working on? Today is my birthday but I wanted to bless someone out there to let you know that you are loved whether you know it or not. Just keep pushing & thrilling because there is always a light at the end of the tunnel.

Final Winter Look

Happy Friyay! This month really started off awesome for me. I left a lot in 2017 and feel like I can completely be me with no distractions. I really been in the zone of pushing my way through the norm, changing my routine, and controlling my emotions not allowing situation to get the best of me. I am completely in tuned with my inner being, when you just realize some things are meant for you and your direction is the path lead for you.

Lately, I’ve been wanting to wear my knee high boots with just about everything because they are the shoes that goes with every piece in my closet. The flowered button down is originally for the spring but just wanted to style my final winter look in the mix of my boots and look how cute it came out. Between these amazon fishnets, zjewels tassel earrings, and these amiclubwear knee-highs, I am going to have to say they all are my favorite. I like items that I can wear year-round in different ways. 

I like that type of apparel/pieces that gets the job done with many different looks to accomplish one same goal, style! I love doing the most with my style, adding things that probably are not needed but it works for me. As the weather change and some days get warmer. I plan on staying cozy until the sun shines so hot, its bathing suit season. Who else is ready for the spring weather, even though I had a blast styling this winter period I know I am.

See this collar coat here, it took me the longest to find but ever since it was purchased it’s the hardest not to wear in the winter weather every occasion. I found myself wearing this boohoo coat with my Nike tennis shoes dressing it up with my Aldo heels. I love it, sometimes I feel like the kid who can’t let go of their blanket, my husband has to regularly remind me that I do hold other jackets in the closet. He tells me that about everything. Once I get on something, it’s hard for me to separate myself from it, plus it keeps me warm. How can a girl complain, right?

Collar coats are my winter essential. They vibe well with sneakers, party dresses, jeans…basically any and everything. I find myself buying a new color every year, that’s how addicted I am to them. What are you guys favorite coat to rock this season?
